Rapier 25 Mono and Dual ANPR cameras are the perfect solution to on-vehicle ANPR capture. Compact and easy to install, the Rapier range offers best-in-class InfraRed (IR) illumination combined with the ability to work at a range of capture distances.
For capturing excellent quality ANPR images at high speed, Rapier 25 models perform brilliantly. Using high shutter speeds, motion blur is effectively eliminated even at approaching speeds of 200mph by delivering 50 images per second.

Deer Park Police in Texas, USA, employ an Automatic Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) system with Microbus's cameras. Each system uses three Rapier 25 Dual cameras on each of their patrol vehicles.
The system automatically scans licence plates to a database looking for outstanding warrants, speeding-tickets and stolen cars and has provided great leaps in efficiency for the force.

All production units have a 24 hour burn-in and functional test before despatch. Every unit is also dry-air purged to create a unit capable of operating at -20ºC/-4ºF without any danger of condensation within the unit.
